Cara Treacy is an dancer/actor/singer living in the Big Apple, NYC. After training in ballet with the Rock School in Philadelphia, Cara moved to San Antonio TX to dance in Ballet San Antonio. A contract with Connecticut Ballet brought her back to the east coast and to New York. After being inspired by Alan Cumming and Emma Stone's performance in the recent Broadway revival of Cabaret, Cara found that her true passions lied in musical theater.
Along with training in dance at STEPS and Broadway Dance Center, Cara studies voice with Andrew Byrne and acting with Jeanine Bartel and Melonie Mack. She is currently pursuing a career in musical theater and made her Off-Broadway debut in Crashlight at the Cherry Lane Theater. Cara has performed regionally in musicals including West Side Story, Cabaret, and Beauty and the Beast.
Cara has been on QVC multiple times with her mother, QVC show host Jane Treacy, been featured in an international commercial, on the box Go-Gator games (sold in Walmart), and has served as an ambassador of Disney Dreamers Academy which gave her the opportunity to be featured on the Steve Harvey Show and Good Morning America.
Cara loves NYC life and knows that her future here is as bright as the lights in Times Square!
